The “Long-Term Regional Reanalysis for Japan with Assimilating Conventional Observations” (RRJ-Conv) is a regional reanalysis providing estimates of past atmospheric fields over Japan with a 5-km grid spacing. The assimilated observations are the conventional data only to keep long-term consistency in reanalysis quality and reproducibility of past atmospheric fields.
