J-OFURO3 Ver. 1.2 now available

The J-OFURO3 dataset is the third generation dataset of the Japanese Ocean Flux Data Sets with Use of Remote Sensing Observations (J-OFURO), a research project on sea surface flux estimation based on satellite observations.

It provides sea surface heat, momentum, coal water fluxes, and related data based on satellite observations over the global ocean region, excluding sea ice.

The newly released version 1.2 is an improved version of the previous version released in 2021, with improved estimation methods, updated source data, and an extended provision period.
