[Update #6] DIAS Services Temporarily Unavailable [Restored]

[July 14, 08:50 JST/UTC+9, Update #6]

As of now, almost all services have been restored.

However, some of the quasi-real-time data during the period of service suspension has not yet been supplemented. Please wait a little longer. If you find any missing data before the service suspension, please contact the DIAS Secretariat.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the prolonged system downtime due to the continuous occurrence of failure.

[July 11, 13:45 JST/UTC+9, Update #5]

Following our investigation, we have confirmed that the current system failure is not related to the issue that occurred on July 8. The direct cause was a momentary power failure at the facility where the DIAS system is installed, triggered by lightning strikes during yesterday’s heavy rain.

We are currently working to restore the system, but it is not expected to be fully restored until next week.

Further updates will be posted on this page as new information becomes available.

[July 11, 09:10 JST/UTC+9, Update #4]

Since last night, again most of services are unavailable due to unknown reason. Our team is working hard to identify the cause and restore services.

Please refrain from accessing DIAS services other than this website until another report.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by repeated failure.

[July 9, 23:50 JST/UTC+9, Update #3]

As of now, all services have been restored. However,

  • Some data cannot be accessed.
  • Some services are unstable.
  • The completion of semi-real-time data during the outage period is currently underway, but will take some time to complete.

If you encounter any of these situations (especially if the application is slow or unstable), please stop using the application or downloading data, and notify the DIAS office with the details of the situation.

[July 8, 17:30 JST/UTC+9, Update #2]

We are continuing our recovery efforts with urgency; however, it has become clear that services will not be restored within today.

We are now working toward recovery by tomorrow afternoon or later.

As previously stated, please refrain from accessing DIAS services other than this website until further notice.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

[July 8, 12:50 JST/UTC+9, Initial Notice]

As of the early morning of July 8, 2025 (JST, UTC+9), a system issue has occurred affecting key DIAS servers, including those that manage access to various services. As a result, most DIAS services are currently inaccessible.

Our team is investigating the issue and working toward recovery, but the timeline remains uncertain.

We will post updates on this page as more information becomes available. In the meantime, please refrain from accessing DIAS services other than this website.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
