Scheduled System Maintenance: Suspension of DIAS Services(Jan. 26 - 27, 2026)

The "Himawari-8/9 Download and Processing System" has also been restored as of now. We would like to once again apologize for the inconvenience and trouble this has caused.

Most of the systems have now been restored. We sincerely apologize once again for the system outage and for the delay in recovery compared to the original schedule.
Please note that an issue has been found in the “Himawari-8/9 Download and Processing System,” and we are currently working on it. We appreciate your patience until the restoration is complete.
If you encounter any other issues that appear to be malfunctioning, please notify the DIAS Secretariat. Additionally, depending on the dataset, heavy download traffic may cause temporary overload. We kindly ask for your cooperation in load balancing by avoiding excessive access and adjusting your access times.
Please note that we have begun the process of restoring data from the service suspension period. We ask for your patience as this work progresses.

Due to maintenance at the facility hosting the DIAS system, all DIAS services will be temporarily suspended during the following period:
Outage Period
From: Monday, January 26, 2026, 16:00 (JST, UTC+9)
To: Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 18:00 (JST,UTC+9)

During this period, all applications, dataset search functions, data downloads, and data usage permission requests will be unavailable.
All analysis environments will also be offline.
Please note that this website (diasjp.net) will remain accessible.
The suspension period may be adjusted depending on the work progress. Any changes will be announced on this page.
Any missing data during the suspension period will be supplemented after all systems have been fully restored.
