The In-situ Data Upload System allows data providers (observers) to upload fixed-point and mobile observation data to DIAS for the fields of climate/weather, hydrology, and agriculture.
The system aims for uploading the data to be quick and require the minimum of effort, so the only requirements made of the user are a minimum of metadata input and formatting. This means that, with the exception of linking with the data quality control system, there are no particular restrictions on the data, so long as the measurement date, location and items measured are clear.
